SMSPoll Sneak Preview

SMSPoll is an application for the Android platform which will allow you to conduct polls over SMS messages. It supports running multiple polls at once, a variety of different response types, and individual poll settings.

As you can see poll creation is a simple process. You can add contacts that the poll will be sent to on the and the settings tab allows you to control the start and end date as well as other, poll-specific options (pictured below).

The majority of the backend is complete and all that remains is polishing the frontend UI. SMSPoll is open source and hosted on GitHub so feel free to contribute. Another post will announce when the application is available to download in the Android Market.
